Artic advances with its strategy of developing first level distributors and integrators in all the countries of the region. Recently, signed an agreement with Cable Services to meet the demand of Colombia.

The alliance seeks “meet the needs of the market, responding with products and solutions that combine design, quality and affordability”, as indicated Fermín Lombana, General Manager of Cable Servicios S.A.

At his time, Cristian Ramírez, COO of Artic Latam, pointed out that “The agreement will allow us to strengthen our presence in one of the most important markets in the region, Colombia., while for Cable Servicios it will be a great opportunity to reach customers with cutting-edge technological products at an affordable price for the investment and operation needs of Latin American companies.”.

Indeed, the telecommunications sector points towards pre-connectorized architectures, which facilitate installation, they are faster, efficient and economic, because they can be implemented in record time and without the need for mergers.

FTTX PRECONNECTED NETWORKS

Between them, Arctic OneClick and MultiClick, that provide an optimized solution for sub-trunk and distribution networks and connection between main boxes, secondary and subscriber. Aims at the deployment of FTTH fiber optic networks whose products are assembled and tested in the factory.

In the OneClick system, backbone and sub-backbone networks are developed with traditional optical cables such as ADSS and underground. Incorporate splice closures, NAP boxes that allow to enter with the optical cables of the sub-trunk network and derive fibers to the pre-connectorized ports. In the MultiClick system, the sub-trunk networks are made up of pre-terminated cables with MPO terminals (12 fibras).

in both systems, distribution cables connect the main boxes, secondaries and terminals, while drop cables allow the connection to be made from the terminal CDO box to the outlet box or terminal box located on the user's property.

The pre-connectorized solution saves time in installation, minimize human errors, does not require skilled labor, es flexible, It is scalable and allows the end user to reduce optical connection costs, up to 50% compared to traditional FTTx networks.

It also complies with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO14001, ROHS, ITU-TG657 A1y2; IEC 61754-4, among other standards of optical and mechanical parameters of each component.

PRECONNECTED NETWORKS FOR BUILDINGS

The MDUClick system, for your part, was developed for the deployment of indoor pre-connectorized networks (interior of buildings), replicating the advantages of outdoor pre-connectorized networks in the environment of buildings and homes.

This system is made up of main boxes, intermediate and terminal boxes which interconnect. Allows you to design all kinds of private indoor networks, both symmetric and asymmetric.

LATIN AMERICA AND THE DEPLOYMENT OF FIBER OPTIC NETWORKS

Progress in the deployment of fiber optic networks in Latin America is significant. Según Fiber Broadband Association (FBA), by the end of 2023 the region will reach 128 million homes with FTTH.

“As providers of passive fiber optic infrastructure, we are proud of the pre-terminated solution with which we reached the market and convinced of the advantages it offers. In this regard, Our alliance with Cable Servicios is excellent news that will allow us to continue positioning ourselves as a brand”, express Raúl Andrés Fleman, CTO of the Arctic Wide.
